DSP&S Workplace Employability Skills Certificate Program
These courses are designed for adults with developmental and/or intellectual differences who have an interest in finding realistic and meaningful employment. Many of these courses are also appropriate for students with “hidden” differences including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, etc. (speak to your DSPS counselor for options). It is recommended that students have a working knowledge of basic English reading and writing skills.
The Workplace Employability Skills Certificate Program is designed for students who want to learn more about desirable soft skills, working relationships, and how to identify self-advocacy skills and their rights in the workplace. Students must receive at least 70% in both classes in order to receive a certificate.
